Potter and Clay - Saint Paul

Hath not the potter power over the clay, to make one vessel unto honour and another unto dishonour?

Comment

See - Bible, from the Book of Romans 9:21.

The theme that the potter ( commonly a metaphor for God) has divine right and authority over the clay to do what he will is a common Biblical reference and appears in various guises in many places therein.

The message here is that one does not have the right to dispute one’s lot or status in life with the maker (God).
